Kathleen Thornton
Director of Marketing Copy and Content
Kathleen Thornton serves as director of marketing copy and content at ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ (UMGC). She and her team write and edit content to support the university’s outreach and messaging needs. Thornton joined UMGC as a writer and editor in 2007 and has enjoyed working on a wide variety of strategic initiatives since then, including supporting the university’s name change, launching new web initiatives, and contributing to print and digital advertising. Thornton has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Lehigh University and a Juris Doctor from University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
