Your Classroom Experience & Related Resources

Nothing is more important than giving our students the absolute best learning experience. That's why University of Global Campus launched Learning Experience Online, our online classroom. Check out our information to learn more about LEO and see answers to frequently asked questions.

At ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ, we are committed to saving you time and money by reducing or eliminating the need to purchase textbooks and other course materials. You can complete most undergraduate degrees without purchasing textbooks, thanks to electronic resources that are available at no cost, are immediately available through your online classroom, and are always up to date.

UMGC's eReserves are required course readings made available to students through the online classroom.

Turnitin is a service integrated into LEO Classrooms that can find and highlight matching or unoriginal text in a written assignment. It compares text in a document against a large database of electronic academic materials which it indexes and stores. Many or most faculty have enabled assignments for Turnitin in the LEO Classroom.

All members of the ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ community are expected to maintain the highest level of integrity across the academic experience. For students, intellectually honest academic work represents independent analysis, acknowledges all sources of information that contribute to the ideas being explored, and ensures the ability to engage in life and work authentically.

While students are expected to understand and memorize new material, many have never been taught effective learning techniques. Our learner support videos are only a few minutes long and offer valuable resources on how to be a successful student.

Each year, ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ recognizes the highest teaching accomplishments by bestowing the Stanley J. Drazek Teaching Excellence Award to outstanding faculty members in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
